Lake Placid is the endurance athletes ultimate playground. Home to the Lake Placid Ironman, Whiteface 100 MTB, Whiteface Sky Race and of course the 1980 Winter Olympics Miracle on Ice. This is the place where you drink your morning coffee on the porch and pick out a mountain peak and then decide if you should run it, hike it or bike it. Then in the afternoon after a swim in Mirror Lake we can talk about that mountains you climbed over a nice family-style dinner.

Home base for this camp is a beautiful five bedroom house that sits just above Main Street making it an easy walk to Mirror Lake and more importantly a short after dinner stroll to Emma's ice cream shop! The enclosed back patio is the perfect, private oasis. It features a large dining table for our family-style meals, some furniture for relaxing between sessions and a salt water hot tub to sooth the legs after a hard day training.

This camp has the Multisport athlete in mind with easy access to swimming, biking and running. If you are a single sport athlete just looking for a dedicated weekend of training you will have no doubt finding a training partner to join you.   Camp attendees range from those preparing to line up and take on Ironman Lake Placid a few weeks post camp to athletes who are looking to keep the training sessions much shorter.  Of course a trip to Lake Placid will usually result with a few of us taking a stab at getting our bikes to the top of Whiteface Mountain (8 miles, 3,516 ft gain, 8.3% avg. grade) and a bit of paddle boarding on Mirror Lake.

Camp cost includes accommodations and all family-style meals at the house. Transportation, equipment needs and sports nutrition is not included. Private rooms are based on single occupancy and shared bathrooms. If you would like to share a private room additional cost will apply.  Private rooms have one bed per room; shared rooms have two beds per room.

Private Room - $1275/per room
Shared Room - $1025/per bed
